RV Mekong Princess is a newly built luxury river vessel from Vietnam to Cambodia. The ship is elegantly designed and exquisitely decorated, recalling the French colonial era. Everything from the food to the decor is prepared with consideration for every detail.

The ship is significant, but there are just 14 spacious suite cabins; each has a floor-to-ceiling window and is equipped with modern amenities that promise an ultra-comfortable experience. On board, guests can enjoy Ramvong Lounge, Princess Spa, a fitness center, and a boutique shop.

Cancellation Policy

In case we received the written cancellation more than one hundred twenty (120) days prior to the departure, we shall charge you the amount of US $450 each Passenger which is non-refundable.
In case we received the written cancellation within one hundred twenty (120) days prior to the departure, the cancellation charges shall be applied as follows:
Between ninety one (91) days and one hundred twenty (120) days prior to the departure, the cancellation charges shall be 50% of the total price.
Within ninety (90) days prior to the departure, even when the passengers absent during the voyage, the cancellation charges shall be 100% of the total price.
We may cancel the reservation and booked tickets if other Passengers hire the whole vessel, even that the Passengers have made full payment or non-payment or paid deposit only, and we shall refund such payments. Provided that we must notify you at least ninety (90) days prior to the departure

Children Policy
  • Children under 6 years old sharing the same bed with her/his parent: The child receives 80% reduction from adult price.
  • Children from 6 years old up to 12 years old receives 30% reduction from adult price.
  • Children from 12 years old up will be fully charged at the adult price.
  • Parents can only bring children under 6 years old on these occasions: Christmas, Thanksgiving and New Year.

Afternoon

Our guide will pick you up from your hotel and take you to the Mekong Princess docked at Saigon Port (05 Nguyen Tat Thanh Street, Ward 13, District 4, Ho Chi Minh City) for boarding.

Please provide your hotel details, and be prepared at your hotel around 10:00 - 11:00 to await our shuttle service.

Upon boarding, a safety briefing will be conducted in the Ramvong Lounge. The Vietnamese and Cambodian crew will warmly welcome you as you embark on an extraordinary journey of discovery.

Shortly after departure, a lunch featuring attentive oriental hospitality will be served. Once comfortably settled in your luxurious suites, you can unwind, take in the new scenery, and observe the world around you.

Afternoon

We navigate through a network of waterways past the Saigon River, the Soai Rap River, the Nuoc Man Canal, the Vam Co River, and the Cho Gao Canal to reach the 'Mighty Mekong River'.

We anchor in the heart of the Mekong Delta, providing an opportunity to savor expertly crafted cocktails while enjoying the sunset and observing passing sampans. 

Evening

In the Indochine Restaurant, a classic Vietnamese "A La Carte" dinner will be served, offering a delicate fusion of dishes for the most discerning palates.

Day 2: Ben Tre - Can Tho

Morning

Sampans guide you along a channel bordered by mangroves to visit a local coconut candy workshop. Witness the candy-making process before strolling to explore an orchard showcasing native Vietnamese fruits at different stages of growth. 

Following a refreshing fruit tasting, we get on a local boat (two guests per boat) at a pier, navigating narrow creeks adorned with Nipah Palm.

Afternoon

The ship traverses an untouched region of the Mekong Delta, rarely visited by tourists, en route to Can Tho city, the riverside capital of Vietnam's Mekong Delta.

Guests can partake in a brief city tour, including a visit to the Zihuang Pagoda (Chua Ong) and an opportunity to enjoy traditional unicorn dances. 

Evening

Afterward, explore the charming city at your leisure before indulging in dinner onboard. The ship docks in Can Tho for the night.

Day 3: Can Tho - Disembarkation

Morning

After breakfast, we board the sampans to have a visit to the captivating Cai Rang floating market, where numerous boats gather each morning to trade produce and essential items for the residents.

Amidst the market's vibrant activity, seize the opportunity for stunning photographs and indulge in fresh fruit and the Vietnamese "anti-aging drink," fresh coconut water.

Before returning to the ship, we make a stop at a local noodle factory, providing a firsthand view of the fascinating noodle-making process.

Disembarkation is scheduled for 10:30. It's time to bid farewell to the Mekong Princess and its dedicated crew.

Day 1: Can Tho - Hoa An - Embarkation

Morning

10:00 - 10:45: Meet our guide at Ninh Kieu Wharf, where the Mekong Princess is docked. We'll begin welcoming guests and set sail at 11:00. A safety briefing will be conducted in the Ramvong Lounge upon boarding.

Lunch will be served before we embark on a sampan excursion to Hoa An village, known for its untouched beauty, and seasonal crops.

Afternoon & Evening

We'll take a "xe loi" raid and a short walk around the village filled with rice paddies and fruit orchards.

Afterwards, let's get on a sampan through busy canals and observe from afar the land milling in operation. On the way, you can learn about how rice is transported and processed locally.

Reaching the last stop today, you will visit local families involved in conical hat-making. Take the chance to interact with the locals and learn the art of crafting these products.

Tonight, the ship will anchor near Gieng Island.

Morning

After a delightful breakfast buffet, we'll board sampans to explore Gieng Island. Following a stroll through the local sampan-making village, we'll take a canal drive to explore mango gardens along the riverbanks.

Guests will have a chance to experience a ride on the "xe loi" (motor trishaw) and visit a Phanxico Monastery.

Afternoon & Evening

Pay a visit to Hong Ngu Village, which is known for producing traditional Khmer scarves, and guests can witness the weaving process in their homes.

Next, tourists will visit a local temple dedicated to the unique Hoa Hao religion founded in the area.

The Mekong Princess will arrive at the Vietnam - Cambodia border this evening to complete exit procedures.

Day 3: Border Crossing - Phnom Penh - Disembarkation

Morning

The Mekong Princess arrives at the border in the morning for exit procedures before continuing its route to Phnom Penh. This upstream journey offers scenic views along the Mekong River that can be watched from both sides of the ship. 

After completing immigration to Cambodia, hop on a local cyclo to embark on a city tour of Phnom Penh. 

The tour includes the Royal Palace and its surroundings. Don't miss out on the Throne Hall and Moonlight Pavilion.

Move to the second section of the complex, Silver Pagoda, a sacred space adorned with an astonishing array of over 9,000 diamond houses.

After a short break, your cyclos transport you to the National Museum. Boasting the most extensive pre-Angkorian and Angkorian collections in Cambodia, the museum offers a comprehensive glimpse into artifacts excavated from the former Khmer Empire.

Back onboard, please leave your checked luggage outside your suite, and it is time to say goodbye to the Mekong Princess and the crew at Phnom Penh Port, where you will disembark at 17:00.

Morning

Our guide eagerly awaits your arrival at the Mekong Princess docked at Ninh Kieu Wharf. The welcome process begins from 10:00 to 10:45, and we set sail around 11:00.

Upon boarding, staff will provide you with a safety briefing that takes place in the Ramvong Lounge.

Afternoon & Evening

Starting its journey from Can Tho, the cruise keeps sailing downstream across the Tra On Rivulet, Nicolai Canal, Mang Thit Canal, and Cho Lach Rivulet towards Ben Tre.

As the day progresses, we finally reach and anchor in Ben Tre, the heart of the Mekong Delta.

For the second day, you will experience the sampans sailing through a channel adorned with mangroves.

Let's move to a local transport "xe lam" (three-wheeler) to visit a local coconut candy maker. Here, you can witness the candy-making process and other products made from coconut.

Stroll around the village to explore an orchard showcasing fruits native to Vietnam in various stages of maturity.

After a fresh fruit tasting, we board small local boats for a journey through narrow creeks lined with Nipah palm before returning to the ship.

Afternoon & Evening

The ship gradually sailed its way through the 'Mighty Mekong River' to Cho Gao Canal, Vam Co River, Nuoc Man Canal, Soai Rap River, and Saigon River.

The ship docks overnight at Saigon Port for the night.
